Premier Electrical and Engineering was founded in 2022 to deliver quality electrical work with the professionalism and technical expertise that Northeast Ohio deserves. The industrial reliability side of the business is the same discipline, applied on a schedule.
Who We Are
Premier is a Northeast Ohio electrical and engineering company, established in 2022 and built on more than six years of hands-on field experience spanning residential, commercial and low voltage systems.
That field background is the reason the industrial reliability work exists. Spend enough years diagnosing electrical faults and a pattern becomes hard to ignore: the failure that took the line down at 2 a.m. had been building for months, and it had been visible for most of them. Nobody was looking, because looking was nobody’s job.
The reliability side of Premier exists to be that somebody — the party that owns the electrical system as an engineered asset rather than as a series of call-outs.
How We Work
Measure, do not guess. A finding backed by a temperature rise, a load reading and a dated image is worth more than an opinion, and it is the only thing that supports a comparison next year.
Say what was not inspected. Equipment that could not be accessed or was not carrying representative load is reported as such. A report that quietly omits what it could not see is worse than useless.
Rank honestly. Not everything is urgent. Calling every finding a priority is how reports get filed and ignored.
Close findings on evidence. Re-inspect after the work. A work order marked complete is not proof the condition cleared.
Scope of Practice
Being straightforward about what Premier does and does not do is part of how the reliability work is meant to function.
- Premier performs engineering analysis, inspection, diagnostic testing, thermography, power quality monitoring, electrical system and equipment assessment, maintenance planning, documentation and reliability consulting.
- Corrective electrical work arising from our findings can be performed by qualified and appropriately licensed electrical contractors. Premier can coordinate that work, support scope definition and verify the result.
- Specialised testing such as oil sampling, dissolved gas analysis and dielectric testing is coordinated through accredited laboratories and qualified testing providers, with Premier interpreting the results against duty and history.
- Where a professional engineer’s seal is required, the deliverable is reviewed and stamped by a licensed professional engineer.
Why the separation helps you
The party identifying the problem has no financial interest in the size of the repair. When Premier says a finding is a priority, that is an engineering judgement rather than a quote — and it is a judgement you can take to whichever contractor you already trust.
The engineering and reliability partner between your maintenance department and your electrical contractors.
Most plants do not need another contractor. They need someone whose job is to look at the entire electrical system, gather the data, analyse it, keep the documentation honest, and say what should be fixed before it becomes a production problem.
What We Are Not
Premier is not an infrared camera service. Thermography is a tool inside a reliability program, and a thermal image without load context, an equipment record and a follow-up inspection is a photograph.
Premier is also not trying to be your electrical contractor on the industrial side. That role is well filled in most plants, and there is a real advantage in keeping the analysis independent of the repair.
What Premier is: the engineering and reliability function that most facilities do not have in house and cannot justify hiring full time.
